Background Information
We are a group of young women and men who have not left the country and have witnessed the impact of the Syrian war on society on a daily basis. After years of work in journalism, and civil and humanitarian work, we have concluded that the change must be comprehensive and arising from within. thus it was necessary to create a framework that would enable us to work together in order to achieve comprehensive change that would mitigate the effects of the war that has been going on in the country since 2011.
NEXTEP Organization (Next Step) came as an embodiment of a common thinking pattern between us, which is based on taking the initiative, moving forward, and starting to think of solutions and alternatives, without waiting long at the stations of obstacles and challenges.
Nextstep is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established in 2021. It seeks, through its Vision, to reach a peaceful, developing society that believes in change and strives for it, through three main programs: Development, Peacebuilding, and Development Information.
Mission
Change is a continuous process, and to be heading for the better, it is necessary to achieve development at all levels, reach sustainable peace and a public culture that accepts the differences and celebrates them. No better than Development Information as a supporter for that change process.
